User Conduct

To keep Chattz safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to:

Impersonate others or falsely claim to represent someone you’re not – including pretending to be Chattz staff or affiliates.
Use misleading usernames, profile details, or group/community names to deceive others.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, or violates another person’s rights.
Upload malicious code, spam, or files that may harm other users or the platform.
Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt Chattz in any way, including using automation, bots, or scraping tools.

Messaging and Content

Messages, posts, and uploaded media must comply with community guidelines.

You may not upload or share:

Inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
Personally identifiable information of others without their consent
Viruses, malware, or any file designed to damage systems or compromise data

We reserve the right to moderate, hide, or remove any content that violates our terms or disrupts the platform experience.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
Do not share your password or 2FA codes with others.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at info@chattz.net.

Groups, Followers, and Communities

Chattz offers group chats, followers, and communities features to enhance social interaction.

Group owners are responsible for maintaining respectful behavior within their groups.
Community owners are responsible for ensuring posts and members follow both Chattz’s terms and community guidelines.
Do not create or promote groups or communities that falsely claim affiliation with Chattz or other organizations without permission.
Content shared in groups or communities remains subject to these Terms and moderation policies.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create on Chattz.
However, by posting or uploading content, you grant Chattz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, host, and distribute it as part of the platform’s functionality.

You must not upload or share content that infringes on someone else’s intellectual property rights.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you:

Violate these Terms of Use
Engage in impersonation, harassment, abuse, or illegal activity
Attempt to disrupt or exploit the platform

Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent bans or legal action.

Disclaimers

Chattz is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied.
We are not liable for:

Loss of data, messages, or account access
Service interruptions, outages, or downtime
Issues caused by user-generated content or third-party links
Unauthorized access due to compromised devices or credentials

While we use encryption and security measures (including 256-bit AES encryption and optional 2FA), no system is entirely risk-free.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union (EU), where Chattz’s operations and servers are based.
