Message Privacy and Encryption

Message Privacy

All messages you send on Chattz are encrypted on our servers using AES-256 encryption, which helps protect your data. However, moderators may still be able to view messages to enforce rules or investigate reports.

Note: Server-side encryption protects your messages from unauthorized access, but moderators and system administrators may access them if needed for safety or compliance reasons.

How Messages Are Stored

Messages are stored encrypted on our servers with AES-256 encryption.

Uploaded files and images are stored publicly, meaning anyone with the direct URL can view them. Be careful not to upload private, sensitive, or inappropriate content if you do not want it publicly accessible.

Moderation Access

Moderators may view messages when investigating abuse, spam, or rule violations.

This helps keep Chattz safe for all users.

Tip: Although messages are encrypted on the server, uploaded images can be accessed by anyone with the link, so avoid sharing private images publicly.

Reporting Concerns

If you believe your messages or images were accessed inappropriately, you can contact support to review the situation.
