Chattz does not take backups of messages or posts. This is mostly because we do not have unlimited storage.

We also think about privacy. We do not want to secretly sav everything you say or post. If you delete something, it is normally gone forever. That means:

• We cannot recover messages or posts you have deleted.
• There is no “trash” to restore from.
• In rare cases, like during big updates, we might take a temporary backup – but that is mainly for technical reasons, not to save content.

So if something is important to you, it is best to keep your own copy (like a screenshot).
